明日、クアラルンプールからミャンマーへ向かいます。
ヤンゴン市内で換金をしようと思いリサーチしたのですが、市内の換金所の多くは閉業となっていました。
ヤンゴン空港でも換金できますが、非常にレートが悪いため、できる限り市内の高レートのところで換金したいと思っていました、
しかし、どうも難しい様子です。
仕方ないので、今回は空港で換金していこうかと思っています。
ちなみに、市内のレートのよい換金所だと20チャット/円ですが、空港だと13チャット/円となります。
先日のブログにも投稿しましたが、軍が犯罪人を開放しているため、ミャンマーの治安は悪化し続けています。
それが原因かどうかはわかりませんが、換金所が強盗されて数千万円の被害を受けたというニュースを最近聞きました。
しかも警察は全く動く気配がないそうです。警察も強盗犯から買収されているのではと噂されています。
現在のミャンマーはこのように警察がまったく機能しておらず、このことも治安悪化を増長させている可能性があります。
タクシーも以前のように安心して乗られません。上の動画にもあるように、強盗目的でタクシーを運転しているのもいるとのこと。
幸いにもぼくの場合、いつも現地のミャンマー人の方にタクシーを用意してもらっているので、その点は安心しています。
さて、明日ようやくヤンゴン入りします。
明日は予定通りカイロプラクティックのボランティア治療です。
コロナ前は徐々に患者さんが増えていたのですが、今はずいぶん減ってしまいました。
今回どの程度の方が来られるのか楽しみです。
できる限り、リアルタイムでミャンマーの現状をお伝えしていきたいと思っています。

I am not sure if this is the reason or not, but I recently heard a news report that a cash exchange was robbed and damaged to the tune of tens of millions of yen.
Moreover, I heard that the police are not taking any action at all. It is rumored that the police may have been bought off by the robbers.
The police in Myanmar are not functioning at all, and this may be exacerbating the deteriorating security situation.
Cabs are not as safe as they used to be. As you can see in the video above, some people are driving cabs for the purpose of robbery.
Fortunately, in my case, I always get a cab from a local Myanmarese.
Well, I will finally enter Yangon tomorrow.
Tomorrow is a volunteer chiropractic treatment as planned.
Before Corona, the number of patients had been gradually increasing, but now it has decreased a lot.
